Easier trend was witnessed on the cottonseeds oilcake market as most of the buyers remained on the sideline due to satisfactory position on the supply side, dealers said. The March vaida opened with one rupee loss at Rs 437.00 and that proved to be day's lowest and incidentally market settled at the same levels. It gained 50 paisa to be day's best at Rs 437.50 during the day's trade.
The next May vaida commenced unchanged at Rs 431.90. In the process of slow training it rose by 30 paisa to be day's best at Rs 432.20.
In the process of trading it shed Rs 1.20 to be day's bottom at Rs 431.00 and closing was seen at Rs 431.10, dealers said.
