Sindh Home Minister, Rauf Siddiqui on Thursday lauded the very close ties of friendship that exists between Pakistan and Bangladesh. At the National Day reception of Bangladesh hosted by the Consul General of Bangladesh and Madame Abdul Hannan at the local hotel, Rauf Siddiqui, on behalf of the Governor and Sindh Government, wished progress and prosperity to the people of Bangladesh.

Ahmed Sultan Aseeri; Consul General of Malaysia Long Rashid; Consul General of Indonesia H.E. Entjin Herrianto; Consul General of China, Sun Chunye; Deputy High Commissioner of UK, Daniel Hamish; Consul of USA; Consul General of Poland, Ireneuz Makles and his wife as also Byram D. Avari and his wife attended the reception and extended warm greetings to the Bangladesh Deputy High Commissioner.
Sardar Sherbaz Mazari also specially attended the Bangladesh National Day function.
