Lahore Township Industries Association (LTIA) protesting over, what it alleged, delay in the initiation of developmental work in industrial area urged the Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Ellahi to replace the administration of Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Development Board (QAIDB). According to a press release, a meeting of the LTIA was held here on Thursday with its former Chairman Sheikh Muhammad Riaz in the chair.
Former Chairmen Mian Abuzar Shad, Noman Kabir, Mian Shafqat Ali, Iqbal Baig Chughtai, sitting Chairman Nasrullah Mughal, Senior Vice-Chairman Khawaja Shahzad Nasir and others attended it.
The participants of the meeting thanked the Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Ellahi for declaring Township Industrial Area as a model industrial estate, constituting Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Development Board and allocation of requisite funds.-PR
