I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations to Ghani Group for their plan to build the first Float Glass Plant in Pakistan, and on the merger of Ka as-ul Musaf'fa with Ghani Glass Limited. The launch of the Float Glass Plants in Pakistan will ensure timely supply of Flat Glass in Pakistan. Given the fact that all Flat Glass is currently being imported in Pakistan, the achievement of this goal on the part of Ghani Group will promote self-reliance.
In addition to having a positive impact on the country's economy through improvement in the balance of trade, presenting avenues for investment in related industries, and creating employment opportunities, the launch of the Flat Glass Plant will reduce the reliance of the Glass Industry and its customers on imports.
The merger of Ghani Glass with Ka'as-ul-Musaf'fa, the achievement of first ISO Certified Glass Company in Pakistan and ISO-14001 Certification, and also having the plan to launch Ghani Automobiles - all these factors bear heavily on may belief that Ghani Group is the right company to lead in such an endeavour.
