Chairman Senate, Mohammedmian Soomro has approved the promotion of three BS-18 Section Officers as Deputy Secretaries and five Section Officers of BS-17 to BS-18. Besides the above, two BS-17 Official Reporters and one BS-17 Translator have been promoted as Senior Reporters/Translator in BS-18. The post of Chief Translator BS-18 has been upgraded and the incumbent has been promoted to the upgraded post.
Khurshid Anwar, Muhammad Hassan Khan and S. Mussarrat Abbas, Section Officers (BS-18) have been promoted to the post of Deputy Secretary, while Section Officers Ihsan-ul-Haq, Ghulam Murtaza, Muhammad Anwar, Muhammad Tahir Khan and S. Waqar Yousaf have been upgraded from BS-17 to BS-18.
Mushtaq Ahmed, Chief Translator (BS-18) is promoted and appointed as Chief Translator (BS-19) against the upgraded post. Fahim Ahmed and Muhammad Ashraf Javed, Official Reporters BS-17 are promoted as Senior Reporters BS-18, while Translator Yousaf Ali BS-17 is promoted and appointed as Senior Translator BS-18.
The competent authority has also approved the promotion of Translators Tanvir Ahmed and Muhammad Usman from BS-16 to BS-17 against the upgraded posts. All the officers have assumed charge of their new responsibilities.
