The lineup of vessels waiting to load sugar in Brazil's ports rose to 40 from 37 last week, shipping agent Williams said Thursday. It said in a weekly report that 20 vessels were lined up in the southern port of Santos, slightly down from 22 last week. At Maceio, in the north-east, there were seven ships, the same as last week. Two ships were at the southern port of Paranagua, likewise unchanged from last week. Santos accounted for 63 percent of the sugar being loaded at Brazil's ports, while Maceio garnered 16 percent.
