Abbottabad Commission held second meeting

ISLAMABAD : Inquiry Commission on Abbottabad Operation met again on Wednesday here under the Chairmanship of Justice Jav

ISLAMABAD: Inquiry Commission on Abbottabad Operation met again on Wednesday here under the Chairmanship of Justice Javed Iqbal, former Senior Judge of Supreme Court and the President of the Commission.

The Commission conducted exhaustive interviews of Director General Military Intelligence (MI) and Inspector General Police (IGP) KPK, who gave their perspectives of the Abbottabad operation.

The Commission also carried out detailed examination/inspection of recovered items and material evidence from alleged OBL Compound in Abbottabad.

The Commission will again meet on October 13 (Thursday) and record the statements of Home Secretary, KPK, and Adjutant General, GHQ.

Today's meeting was attended by Abbas Khan IG (R), Ashraf Jehangir Qazi and Lt. Gen. (R) Nadeem Ahmed members of the Commission.
