Punjab Minister for Industries and Investment Muhammad Ajmal Cheema on Sunday said for providing advanced technical training to the skilled and unemployed labour, government would establish 4000 "Carpet Centres" in the rural areas closer to big industrial cities. "It will boost our economy besides strengthening industrial base in Punjab and more than 1.2 million youths will be employed in these proposed Carpet Centres," he told this news agency today.
The minister said the government had achieved great success in restoring and rebuilding the confidence of foreign investors on Pakistan by offering highly investment friendly policies. "Foreign entrepreneurs are making heavy investments here, because they consider Pakistan as an ideal country for their investments," he added.
