Release of MMA activists demanded

The protest camp setup at Chowk Clock Tower continued on the eight consecutive days, here on Sunday. Rai Nadeem ur Rehman, Vice President, Sabab-e-Milli Punjab and other local acting leaders of Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) and political workers visited the camp and supported the cause of MMA leadership. Addressing a well-attended peoples and citizens, Rai Nadeem ur Rehman, Vice President, Sabab-e-Milli Punjab demanded immediate release of the MMA activists and other political workers otherwise massive protest would launch if their demands was not fulfilled.
It is a tragedy that dictatorial rule had once again stifled voice of the masses under the garb of democracy. He said maltreatment of the workers and the journalists at the hand of police and agency personnel is highly shameful in the country.
