The Karachi Port handled 45,477 tonnes of cargo including 24,103 tonnes import and 21,374 tonnes export cargo inclusive of 1,666 containers, during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Monday. The cargo comprised of 29,229 tonnes dry cargo including 7,736 tonnes general cargo; 19,105 tonnes coal; 1,860 tonnes rice; 528 tonnes cement and 16,248 tonnes oil/Liquid cargo. Six ships namely Ilse Wuff, Pac Antlia, An Yue Jiang, Sea Ranger, Patriot-R and Archangelos Gabriel sailed out to sea during the report period.
Four vessels viz Iran Hesabi, Rinkenis, Butet and Heng Fu are currently at the berths.
Two ships namely Ocean Emperor and Rinkenis expected to sail on Monday, while three vessels viz Islamabad, Shimakaze and Lady Nuhad are expected to sail on Tuesday.
Six vessels viz Rising One, MT Johar, Kota Waris, Kota Indah, Corinthiakos and Barge Sapta-1 due to arrive on Monday, while six ships namely Pacific Sound, Gao He, Iran sattari, Sinar Java, Apl Jeddah and Aquarius Leader are due to arrive on Tuesday.
Two ships namely MV Gold Carrier and MT Gemini sailed out to sea on Sunday, while another container vessel Hotaka Maru is expected to sail on Monday.
A total of two vessels viz Maersk Alaska and MV Anjum are currently at the outer anchorage.
Three ships namely Hotata Maru, Matina and Genco Leader are currently at the berth, while two more vessels viz MT Sinar Sabang and MV Anum are due to take berths on Monday.
Two vessels viz CV Qia Al Feja'a and MV Min Noble due to arrive on Monday, while another ship MT Warbah is due to arrive on Tuesday.
