ISE index down 101 points

Equities continued to show negative sings on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bulls failed to return on the driving seats amid decrease in index. The ISE-10 index showed a decrease of 101 points closing at 2165 points. The overall turnover amounted to 2,873,400 shares as compared to previous volume of 2,615,400 shares. A total of 120 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (88) closed in negative territory, 32 companies showed plus signs, while zero company remained pegged to its previous level.
The turnover of PTCL was 1,999,500 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,960,500 shares. The volume of the OGDCL was 425,400 shares. The turnover of Fauji Fertiliser Bin Qasim was 183,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 223,500 shares.
