Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Islamabad on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with American firm International Spectrum Development Inc (ISDI) for a joint venture of $10 million. Chairman ISDI's board, Major General Lincoln Jones (Retd) signed the agreement with administrator DHA Brigadier Zahid Waheed Butt (Retd).
According to the MoU, ISDI would construct 24-32 lane bowling centre, indoor amusement park (multi-rides and games), miniature golf course, amusement arcade, multi-function space, children's play area, internet cafe, skating rink, various retail facilities and multiple food venues including a modern restaurant in the housing scheme.
The entire structure would be fully air-conditioned and contemporary with the surrounding area. The project also includes construction of an outdoor water park, theme park, live entertainment areas and shops in the specified area.
Talking to newsmen after the signing ceremony, General Lincoln Jones told that the project would be spread over an area of 11 acres and would be completed in at least 27 months.
