The Consul General of Iran Muhammad Khudadi visited Punjab University College of Information Technology (PUCIT). PUCIT Principal Dr M. A Pasha briefed the Iranian diplomat about various programmes being offered by the college. He said facilities like state-of-the-art computer labs; ISP, multimedia-equipped classrooms, library and different specialised labs were being provided to the students. He also explained the curriculum of different IT disciplines and also briefed about steps taken to ensure high standard of education.
The Consul General took a round of different sections of the college and showed keen interest for collaboration in sending Iranian students to the PUCIT for IT education, teacher training programmes and implementation of knowledge management in Iranian universities.
Moreover, a Swedish delegation also visited PUCIT and showed keen interest for co-operation in implementation of knowledge management.
