Ghandhara Nissan President Lieutenant General Ali Kuli Khan Khattak (Retd) said that Ghandhara Nissan has now emerged as a strong industrial unit and is the only company in the automobile sector of the country having assembly facilities for a complete range of automobiles from passenger cars to light commercial and heavy duty commercial vehicles. It has a large assets base, a nation-wide dealership network and a team of dedicated professionals. He was addressing a press conference on the launching of Nissan Vehicles 2005 in Islamabad on Friday.
He said in January last year, the two companies, ie, Ghandhara Nissan Diesel Limited and Ghandhara Nissan Limited were merged with Ghandhara Nissan Limited as the surviving company.
Merger of the two companies has streamlined operations and has provided better opportunities for an economical and smooth operation of assembly of vehicles.
The Ghandhara Nissan Limited was incorporated by founder chairman, Late General Habibullah Khan Khattak, in 1981 for the promotion of Nissan vehicles in Pakistan.
