Anti-narcotics force has seized 240 kg Charas at Fateh Jang which was being smuggled to Punjab from NWFP in a Suzuki car with government number plate. A press release issued here on Saturday said that Lieutenant Colonel Wasif Sajjad, Joint Director, Regional Directorate of Anti-narcotics Force Rawalpindi, received special information that huge quantity of narcotics would be smuggled from NWFP to Punjab in an official car.
The car No LZA-7173 with green number plate was intercepted near Fateh Jang and 240 kg of fine quality Charas was taken into custody, while two smugglers Ashraf Ali and Tariq Shah from Nakai village of Tehsil and District Peshawar were arrested.
It is also stated that FIR has been registered against them at Police Station anti-narcotics force, Attock.
