An accountability court on Saturday reserved its verdict in a petition filed by Hashim Babar, the co-accused, in a reference against Hakim Ali Zardari father of the PPPP leader Asif Ali Zardari praying his acquittal from the case. The court adjourned the proceedings till May 03. The petitioner contended that referring authority had involved him in the reference only to victimise him politically. He prayed to the court to acquit him from the reference in question.
The court, after hearing petitioner's counsel at length, reserved its verdict and observed that the judgement would be announced on May 03.
