It is always a great feeling to come out on top, to be a winner and to have been acknowledged for hard work. I and my team thank the Almighty, our families, clients, friends and well wishers without whom we would have been able to come this far. It is a overwhelming feeling to have won an award outside the boundaries of our great nation.
The fact that there is now a formal category to highlight the best of advertising in Pakistan at the prestigious ABBY awards is testament to the fact that Pakistani advertising has come of age and that this fact is now being recognised around the world. I congratulate the entire advertising industry on this, it has been through our collective endeavours that Pakistani advertising is slowly getting global exposure.
I now feel that the time has come that we must close ranks and work harder to ensure that with the opening up of new global business opportunities we become globally competitive.
One big win and two nominations at the ABBYs is a firm testament of Synergy's continuing commitment of creating quality advertising that is both pertinent and innovative for our target consumers and is a reflection of the growing professionalism of brand management and discernment of audience segments in Pakistan.
I congratulate JWT Asiatic on their success at the ABBYs as well and once again thank everyone on behalf of myself and Synergy for their continuing support.
