The Central Depository Company on Monday announced that the launch of its reengineered version of existing Central Depository System (CDS), termed eCDS on April 25, has been postponed due to some technical reasons. The new system is designed to offer the benefits of improved maintainability, better application response time and enhanced data security. "The Central Depository Company's commitment to deliver a robust system to facilitate its customers is of paramount importance and the system would be available to its customers shortly", said a CDC spokesperson.
