Senate chairman Mohammadmian Soomro and Sindh Chief Minister Dr. Arbab Ghulam Rahim called on Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Tuesday. The Prime Minster discussed legislative agenda with the Senate chairman during the ongoing session and noted that the Upper House has a role in legislation and strengthening of democratic institutions. The Prime Minister in his meeting with the Sindh Chief Minister and Minister for Narcotics Control Ghous Bux Khan Mahar discussed the ongoing development projects, law and order situation.
Shaukat directed the Sindh Chief Minister to focus on agri sector, health, education and roads and assured that the federal govt would provide all assistance.
