He said neither they were involved in any illegal activity nor were required to the police in any case, the respondent police officials arrested them and put them behind the bars.
He said the respondent police officials informed them that the Home department had issued their arrest orders, under 16 MPO. He prayed to the court to declare their arrests as illegal and without lawful authority.

LHC DIRECTS SP: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has directed SP Faisalabad to produce one Asim Yousaf before the court on May 06.
Earlier, the SP Faisalabad appeared before the court and contended that neither the detainee was with them nor they were aware about his whereabouts. He however, requested the court to allow the police to interrogate his wife Sonia Naz.
The court observed if an aggrieved person was handed over to police instead of redressing his/her grievance, it would set a wrong tradition.
The court therefore, directed the SP to produce the detainee before the court on next date of hearing and rose for the day.
The petitioner Sonia Naz has approached the court for the recovery of her husband but the respondent police officials failed to produce him before the court.
LAW OFFICER DIRECTED: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has directed the law officer to provide the copies of statements of witnesses to petitioner Superintendent Jail Sialkot Sikandar Hayat involved in the case pertaining to killings of four judges of the lower judiciary.
The petitioner, Sikandar Hayat contended that the respondent court has not allowed him to peruse the statements of the witnesses recorded before the respondent court.
He prayed to the court to direct the respondent court to provide him copies of statements of the witnesses.
The court, after hearing the petitioner's counsel at length, allowed the petition and directed the law officer to provide copies of the statements of the witnesses to the petitioner.

He prayed to the court to direct the respondent police officials to act in accordance with the law and abstain from harassing and disturbing the petitioner and his family members.
