Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz presided over a high-level meeting held at the Prime Minister's House on Friday to review various proposals for the upcoming budget for next fiscal year and considered ways and means for increasing revenues development programmes and expenditures. The participants discussed the various proposals at length.
Those who attended the meeting included Humayun Akhtar Khan, Minister for Commerce, Sikandar Hayat Khan Bosan, Minister for Food and Agriculture and Livestock, Jahangir Khan Tareen, Minister for Industries, Production, Dr Hafeez Sheikh, Minister for Privatisation, Aman Ullah Khan Jadoon, Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources, Liaquat Ali Jatoi, Minister for Water and Power Mushtaq Ali Cheema, Minister for Textile Industry, Dr Salman Shah, Advisor to Prime Minister on Finance, Omar Ayub Khan, Minister of State for Finance and Governor State Bank.
