Alliance for Restoration of Democracy (ARD), Secretary General Zafar Iqbal Jhagra Saturday announced that a delegation of the alliance would visit Dera Bugti on May 5 to express solidarity with Nawab Akbar Bugti. He said the delegation would meet Nawab Akbar Bugti in Dera Bugti on May 6. ARD in its meeting held here on Thursday with Makhdoom Amin Faheem in chair at PML (N) Secretariat had decided to visit Dera Bugti but could not finalise the date during the meeting.
The proposed delegation include Makhdoom Amin Faheem, Raja Muhammad Zafar ul Haq, Zafar Iqbal Jhagra, Tahmeena Daultana, Raja Pervez Ashraf, Syed Muneer Hussain Gillani, Abdul Qadir Khamosh, Manzoor Gillani, Saifullah Saif, Noobahar Shah, Mufti Feroozuddin, Naveed Malik, Nawabzada Mansor Ali Khan, Muhammad Sharif, Sahibzada Fazal Karim, Malik Hakmeen Khan and Nawaz Gondal. Iqbal Jgagra said that alliance felt that the issue of Balochistan could only be resolved through talks.
About the purpose of the ARD team's visit to Dera Bugti, he said Nawab Akbar Bugti was part of the alliance and the delegation besides expressing solidarity wanted to be briefed on the situation.
