OSIM International Limited, a global leader in healthy lifestyle products expected to be a US $1 billion company by the end of this fiscal year, is set to capture the Pakistani market through its partnership with Bee Enterprises Ltd OSIM Pakistan is an exclusive alliance between OSIM International and Bee Enterprises Ltd, which will bring the internationally acclaimed and award-winning range of products at our doorsteps. "As a group, it is Bee Enterprises' mission to introduce concepts that improve the quality of life for people in Pakistan.
OSIM Pakistan's projected revenue streams show exponential growth attributable to the projected 7 percent to 8 percent growth in the economy, the increasingly affluent and aware consumer base and a growing middle class.
The timing is just right to introduce concepts which provide healthy alternatives and improved lifestyles to the Pakistani consumer," said Maleeha Bangash-Gilani, Director Finance OSIM Pakistan.
She said that OSIM International currently operates in 23 countries with over 700 outlets. It has increased its market capitalisation through the US $417 million acquisition of Nasdaq-listed Brookstone Inc, a product development and specialty retailer with 288 outlets across 41 American states.
Earlier OSIM International also successfully acquired Global Active Limited, giving it access to the chain of GNC health supplement outlets in Asia, she added.
Concerning OSIM Pakistan's growth strategy, Managing Director Obeid Bangash commented: "Our high-end flagship outlet is scheduled to open in the commercial area of Y-Block, DHA, Lahore. We have planned substantial capital outlay to have a presence in all the major cities, including Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar and Faisalabad, with a total of 25 outlets across Pakistan in the next 3 to 5 years.
We have anchored on our core competencies of professionalism, high service standards and a focus on customer care. In keeping with this, we will be setting up service centers in convenient locations all over Pakistan."
The OSIM brand offers a range of 140 products with 4 major focuses, which are health focus, hygiene focus, fitness focus and nutrition focus, he added.
