Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) is going to shut down its three low-tension (LT) circuits for six days, from 8 am to 5 pm from Tuesday, May 3, 2005, to Sunday, May 8, for laying of new 132 KV transmission line. A KESC spokesman said on Monday that as the corporation is laying a new 132 KV transmission line between Baldia and Site Gas Turbine Station, three LT Circuits would remain shut down from Tuesday to Sunday.
As a result, the consumers of following areas will be affected from Tuesday for six days from 8 am to 5 pm: Block-C Khadda PMT, Zaman Khan PMT near Madina Masjid, Abidabad Blocks C and D. The adjoining areas include Bilal Masjid and Premier Batteries Sub-Station, Zubaida Industries, Nazuk Textile and S.A Textile, the spokesman added.
