Pakistan's ambassador to United States General Jehangir Karamat (Retd) called on Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz at the Prime Minister's House on Tuesday and discussed various aspects of the Pakistan-US bilateral relations including trade, commerce, investment and defence co-operation. Talking to the ambassador, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan and US enjoy close and cordial relations which have acquired greater strategic dimension in recent years. The Prime Minister said that a large number of Pakistanis work in United States and they should be mobilised to further the cause of Pakistan's interests and particularly strive for projecting the country's true image.
He also asked the ambassador to work for acquiring greater market access for Pakistani products.
