Sindh University Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science (IMCS) has organised a two-week computer-training programme for freshly inducted teachers of various institutes and departments of the varsity. IMCS Director Professor Dr Noor Ahmed Shaikh highlighting the objectives of the training course said such courses would help participant of the programme to learn more and more in the shortest span of time. He said the objective of training to teachers in computer was to train more manpower to work excellently through modern equipment.
He said the training programme included training of the new teachers of various departments, librarians of various organisations, web masters and Internet web masters and also training of the Internet.
Earlier, Sindh University vice Chancellor Mazharul Haq Siddiqui inaugurating the training programme called upon the teachers to work with dedication and acquire knowledge of the modern skills that would help them to transfer their knowledge to student more effectively.
