Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) President Khalid Firoz has advised newsmen to publish news after thorough verification. Addressing a hurriedly called press conference at the KCCI, he pointed out that a news item appearing in a section of press (Not in Business Recorder) involving Zubair Motiwala, a former president of KCCI, in the FIA raid was absolutely baseless. He said the news had defamed the position of Zubair Motiwala. Speaking on the occasion, Siraj Kasim Teli said Zubair Motiwala had no connection with the business of the factory where counterfeit CDs were being made.
Zubair Motiwala on the occasion said the news had been published due to identical names and non-verification of facts.
