A Sabre aircraft from Pakistan Air Force has been a part of finest display at China's historical Aviation Museum, located at 40 miles north of Beijing. It symbolised the traditional and decades old co-operation between the two countries in the defence sector, said a Chinese official while talking to APP. Over the years, the air forces of the two countries maintained close collaboration to enhance their defence capability and professional skills.
The museum was opened to the public in 1989 on the occasion of 40th Anniversary of the founding of Air Force of Chinese People's Liberation Army.
At present, the aviation museum collected more than 200 aircraft with types exceeding 100.
The Sabre aircraft from Pakistan Air force is displayed along with an US Army UH-1H, captured in Vietnam, and the latest acquisition of the museum: an F-104S from the Italian air force.
