Arabica coffee futures settled 2 percent lower on Thursday, knocked down by technically-based speculative selling after Wednesday's big jump in prices, dealers said. The New York Board of Trade's most-active July arabica contract fell 2.50 cents, or 2 percent, to end at $1.2295 per lb., after trading from $1.2675 to $1.1975, which marked its lowest since April 20.
