The Union of Small and Medium Enterprises (Unisame) has sought institutional support of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Smeda), National Productivity Organisation (NPO) and Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) for smooth functioning of the Institute of Materials Management (IMM). IMM Convener Moiz Fazalbhai has requested the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, Commerce Ministry and Finance Ministry to fully support the IMM and promised positive results in different sectors within a period of one year.
He said Unisame volunteers are willing to offer their services for the cause, adding that we already have a list of professionals employed in multinational companies who have volunteered to give lectures after office hours for the training of the SMEs.-PR
