Mental stress is a major cause of chronic diseases in the country as 89 percent of Pakistan's population are suffering from chronic diseases. This was stated by a medical practitioner while presenting a lecture on "Stress Management" at Sir Adamjee Institute of Technology, a press release of the institute said on Friday. "The common symptoms of mental stress are fatigue, headache, insomnia and some of others," he said and added that life style, change of stressful situation and positive thinking help to manage the stress.
