In a bid to normalise relations between Pakistan and India, dual citizenship must be given to citizens of both the countries. This proposal was floated by Sandeep Pandey organiser peace march initiated from Delhi (India) to Multan (Pakistan) while talking to newsmen during his visit to the office of Punjab Union of Journalists (PUJ) here on Saturday. The delegation comprising 13 members including a journalist Darshan Singh, a Japanese monk Sekuguchi and two children reached Lahore to hold peace march. One of the members of the delegation, Mohan Singh, who is member Indian Parliament, is reaching here on Monday (May 09).
Sandeep said that their group has initiated peace march to promote peace between the two countries. He said that they also want resolution of Kashmir issue in consultation with the Kashmiri people. He stated that they also want that both the countries must curtail their defence expenditures and concentrate on uplift and prosperity of their people.
He further said that their group also wants entry system for people of both the countries. Among others Darshan Singh, Chaudhry Rehmat Ali, Farooq Tariq, Amir Khan, Hamid Nawaz and Rai Husnain Tahir also spoke on the occasion.
