I have addressed an appeal to the Chief Minister the Sarhad, Mohammad Akram Khan Durrani, for revival of industrial activities in the province and attracting new investment in the Sarhad province. There are many industrialists who are suffering due to ban imposed by the Sarhad Cabinet under Section 144 who cannot bring back or take out their plant and machinery from Gadoon Amazai Industrial Estate (Swabi) and other industrial estates of NWFP.
The Sarhad Cabinet has imposed the ban which has brought suffering and material losses to many industrialists who have made investment in early 1990 and now all facilities have been withdrawn and most of plants are either obsolete or need major repair work and those industrialists of Sindh and Punjab are now running from pillar to post for the required NOC.
