Sindh Governor, Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan has said that positive policies of present government had improved Pakistan's image world over and the negative impression particularly about was nullified. Addressing to a gathering of investors in Dubai during his four-day visit, the Governor said local and foreign investors preferred business in Karachi, which was gaining an ideal situation for investors. Provincial government had provided all possible facilities to investors and simplified the rules and regulations along with availability of necessary infrastructure.
Inducing the Pakistani and Foreign investors in Dubai, the Governor apprised them of the existing opportunities and advantages of investing in Pakistan.
He informed that Karachi was the emerging economic hub of the region where cheaper skilled labour was available.
He pointed out; housing, fisheries, food processing, mass transit, tourism sectors and hotels had vast investment potentials.
Investors belonging to USA, Canada, Singapore, China besides Pakistan and other countries were present on the occasion.
Provincial Industries Minister Adil Siddiqi and Advisor Local Government Waseem Akhtar were also present on the occasion.
