Media asked to highlight constructive activities

Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim has said that it is the responsibility of newspapers and media to highlight constructive activities and not to encourage crimes. He was talking to the 15-member delegation of Information Officers Group at Chief Minister House. He informed that his priorities include provision of quality education. He informed the delegation that in Karachi after construction of flyovers, work, on underpasses has been started, while existing roads are being widened. He referred to the start of first phase of Karachi Circular Railway and said the transport system in the city is being improved.
In order to achieve economic progress, investment here is being encouraged. He said adding that during the current fiscal exports have touched dollar 13-14 billion mark while debts against the country are being retired. On the occasion, the Chief Minister presented gifts of traditional Sindhi cap and Ajrak to members of the delegation.
