Form-B may be used for registration of marriage

National Database Registration Authority (Nadra) on Tuesday announced to facilitate the general public by allowing them to use Form-B as reference for the registration of marriage, in case the age of bride is 16 to 18 years. According to a press release issued by Nadra here, all those brides below the age of 18 years, but fall in the range of marriage age of 16-years, according to Muslim law, can produce Form B as proof of registration status. However on reaching the 18 years, it is mandatory for the bride to provide CNIC number in "Nikah Nama" through Nikah Registrars of the area.
