Chief Executive Al-Falah Bank, Mohammad Saleem Akhtar said that their bank was playing an important role in country's economy adding that the opening of new branch would further bring progress and prosperity in the area. Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of a new branch here on Wednesday, he said the bank had now 103 branches throughout the country. Dist Nazim Attock Major Tahir Sadiq (Retd), DCO Babar Khan Nasir, Principal Govt College Attock Mushtaq Ahmed, Area Manager Al-Falah Bank Adnan Anwar Khah, Naib Zila Nazim Malik Sameen Khan, Manager Al-Falah Bank Haroon Jamal Pasha were also present.
The Chief Executive said that they were the leaders in consumer banking and always wanted to be leader in the banking sector. He said the bank had generated many jobs for young graduates and was also providing services in the agricultural sector.
Speaking on the occasion Dist Nazim, said Bank Al-Falah would play an important role in bringing prosperity and progress in the area and hoped that bank would also open its branches at tehsil level.
Earlier Dist Nazim Major Tahir Sadiq (Retd) inaugurated the new branch of Al-Falah Bank in Attock and opened his account as the first customer of the bank.
It is note worthy that the Chief Executive Al-Falah hank had been a student of Govt College Attock in 1951. He also visited the college to refresh his memories as a student.
