Arabica coffee rose more than 2 percent Wednesday, buoyed for the fourth consecutive session by speculators buying on seasonal factors and gains in other commodities, market sources said. The New York Board of Trade's most active July arabica contract rose 2.3 percent or 2.75 cents to finish at $1.224 a lb, the highest settlement since May 13. It opened at a low of $1.205 and peaked at $1.23. Among other arabicas, September settled up 2.80 cents at $1.255 and deferred deliveries advanced 2.80 to 3.65 cents.
