The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) on Saturday organised a presentation on 'Margin Financing' in the Trading Hall of the Exchange, which was largely attended by members of KSE and banking sector. According to a press release of KSE, Chairman Muhammad Yasin Lakhani welcomed the participants and briefed them about the significant features of 'financing' and the efforts that are underway for its successful implementation. Chief Operating Officer of the National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) highlighted the significant features available in the NCCPL for 'margin financing' transactions along with the delivery and settlement systems of the transactions.
Later a question-answer session was conducted in which a number of queries were made on different aspects of 'margin financing' which inter alia included the procedure for 'margin financed' transactions, financing through banks and its settlement through the NCCPL.
KSE Managing Director assured the participants of continued efforts on the part of the KSE to make the margin financing system successful and beneficial for all investors.-PR
