Financial close for the establishment of three MGD, 94 megawatts DHA power and desalination project has been achieved. This was stated at a special meeting of DHA executive board chaired by Corps Commander Lieutenant General Syed Athar Ali, who is also president of the DHA executive board. The meeting was held at the Defence Authority Golf Club, a DHA statement said here on Tuesday.
The executive board was also given a detailed briefing on the establishment of 300-bed Creek City Teaching Hospital in DHA phase-VIII by a consortium of International Health Group, UK. The groundbreaking of the project would be held on July 31.
The board was briefed about the ongoing modernisation of Defence Authority Golf Course into 18 holes. The board also approved the revised DHA construction bylaws and decided to do away the mezzanine floor in commercial buildings.
Earlier, DHA administrator Brigadier Maqsood Hussain received the corps commander on arrival at Defence Authority Golf Club.-PR
