ISE equities show positive signs

Equities showed positive signs at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bulls strengthened their positions amid increase in index. ISE Network Index showed an improvement of 269.22 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 11,451.63 to 11,720.85 points. The overall turnover amounted to 2,525,900 shares as compared to previous turnover of 2,371,400 shares. Total 124 companies participated in buying and selling activity.
Majority of stocks (115) closed in positive territory, 8 showed negative signs whereas one company remained pegged to its overnight level. The turnover of PTCL was 1,573,500 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,427,500 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 657,400 shares as compared to previous turnover of 696,100 shares. The volume of Pakistan Oilfields was 93,700 shares as compared to previous volume of 81,000 shares.
