Grams prices were higher on the grain market on Thursday as supply position was tight from upcountry centres, dealers said. On the gram side, Garda Punjab gained Rs 50 to Rs 1700-1750. Garda Punjab Dal followed the same trend and picked up Rs 75 at Rs 2125-2175 on rising demand, dealers said. On the cereals sector, wheat Mexipak continued its upward trend and rose by Rs 10 to Rs 1100, they added. Other items maintained their overnight levels in modest trading.
