Federal Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad and Advisor to the Prime Minister on Finance, Revenue and Economic Affairs, Dr Salman Shah have appreciated recent steps taken by Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) for the convenience of electricity consumers. After attending the presentation given by Chief Executive Lesco, Muhammad Akram Arain on Lesco's Online Billing System, they said it would facilitate the consumers.
They advised chief executive Lesco to launch this system through post offices and prepaid cards. Through this system, any consumer can also check his electricity consumption and payment record on Lesco web site.
