Australian Hiqh Commissioner to Pakistan, Ms Zorica McCarthy called on Federal Minister for Water and Power Liaquat Ali Jatoi here on Friday in his chamber at parliament house. She remained with the minister for some time and discussed various matters of mutual interest and bilateral co-operation in the field of power generation and water sector.
The forthcoming visit of President General Pervez Musharraf to Australia was also discussed and both expressed the hope that his visit will further boost economic and bilateral relations between the two countries. Secretary Water and Power, Ashfaq Mehmood was also present in the meeting.
