Sharp rise was seen on the forward cottonseed oilcake market on Saturday as demand was high, dealers said. The July vaida commenced with 60 paisa loss at Rs 437.50. In the process of trading it gained rupees two to be day's best at Rs 439.50, dealers said. Later, it shed Rs 1.70 to be day's lowest at Rs 437.80 and closing was seen at Rs 438.70, they added.
The December vaida opened with 60 paisa loss at Rs 437.50, dealers said. During the day it rose by Rs 1.50 to be day's best at Rs 420.00. Later, it lost rupees three to be day's lowest at Rs 417.00 and market settled at Rs 419.50, they added.
