The Punjab Bar Council (PBC) is observing strike on Thursday to protest against the desecration of Holy Quran by American forces. Addressing a press conference, PBC executive committee Chairman Asghar Gill said that action of the American military officials is condemnable, hence the responsible officials may be awarded exemplary punishment.
He called upon the lawyers' community to boycott the court proceedings, hold protest meetings, pass resolutions and took out processions against the sacrilege of Holy Quran.
