Britain on Thursday welcomed the visit to Pakistan by All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders, saying the welcomed development was a result of the ongoing peace process between two South Asian neighbours. It "is a welcomed development and is a result of the ongoing peace process between India and Pakistan," a British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) spokesman told APP while commenting on the visit of key APHC leaders to Azad Kashmir and Pakistan.
During their visit APHC chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Yasin Malik, Bilal Ghani Lone, Abdul Ghani Bhatt and Abbas Ansari had, had detailed discussion with President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on the pestering issue of Kashmir.
