Bulls commanded the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed handsome recovery under the lead of PTCL amid increase in index. ISE Network Index showed an improvement of 72.48 points as the price-based indicator moved from 11,563.27 to 11,635.75 points. The overall turnover amounted to 3,976,300 shares as compared to previous volume of 3,683,200 shares.
Total 92 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (57) closed in positive zone, (35) landed in minus territory while zero company remained pegged to its overnight level.
The turnover of PTCL was 34,29,500 shares as compared to previous volume of 28,01,000 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 409,800 shares. The turnover of PSO was 74,800 shares as compared to previous volume of 77,500 shares.
