The contagious soyabean rust disease was found in a fifth county in Florida, this one near the Georgia border, the US Agriculture Department said on Wednesday. "Jefferson County, Florida reported a new find of soybean rust on kudzu," the USDA said on its rust-monitoring Web site. Soyabean rust is a windborne fungus that can devastate soyabean crops if not detected early and treated with fungicides.
