Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) President Khalid Firoz said 83 Chinese companies will display different products in the KCCI exhibition "My Karachi-2005" scheduled from June 24 to 26. In a statement, he said more than 200-member delegation from Xinjang China has arrived here to participate in the KCCI exhibition.
He said the Export Promotion Bureau of Bangladesh was also leading a 10 exhibitors delegation who would be displaying and selling the Bangladeshi products.
He said besides those foreign exhibitors more than 1,000 local manufacturers of fast moving consumer goods were also participating in the exhibition.
He said purpose of holding that exhibition was to improve the image of Karachi as peaceful city and to send positive signals to foreign entrepreneurs.
He emphatically mentioned that Sindh government has joined the KCCI as co-host in organising that mega event. He said the Chinese exhibitors' delegation would be holding a press conference on June 22 at a local hotel.
